Please bring a mobile phone that can easily receive a verification code from the OMMA. Additionally, have an email account ready, as it may be needed for further communication or verification purposes. Having these items on hand will ensure you can complete the necessary processes without delay.

You must locate a doctor who has completed the required education courses to issue a Medical Marijuana Recommendation. Only these doctors will be able to provide a recommendation.

The recommendation is valid for 30 days, and it's important to complete all paperwork within this time frame. By doing so, you can ensure a smooth process and avoid the need to obtain another recommendation.

To ensure a smooth process, please make sure that the address on the recommendation matches your driver's license or state ID card and is a physical address, as P.O. Boxes cannot be accepted. If you'd like, you can use a different mailing address for receiving your card.

It is very important to keep your email address and password secure. You’ll need this information for any future card applications and to check the progress of your current application. By safeguarding your login details, you’ll ensure easy access to your account. OMMA only communicates through EMAIL ONLY.

The state fee for obtaining an OMMA card is set at $104.30. This amount covers only the state fee and does not include the separate cost for a doctor's recommendation. However, individuals with Medicare or SoonerCare can take advantage of a significantly reduced fee of $22.50. To qualify for this lower rate, present your physical Medicare or SoonerCare card.

The fee for Carl Smith is set at $60. Should you require assistance with the paperwork, an additional charge of $20 will apply. If you choose to have Toppers handle the paperwork, simply let Karla know, and she will promptly email your recommendation directly to Toppers’ email address.
